DIRECTIONS FOR

MILEAGE TRACKING AND TRAIL INFORMATION FORMS

 

MILEAGE TRACKING:  uPlease enter your PLTA membership number, first and last name as recorded on your membership, phone number, and e-mail address in the area indicated. 

uEnter mileage hiked on each day; for weekend trips for instance, determine the miles traveled on Saturday separately from those hiked on Sunday.

 uLlama must be registered with PLTA if documentation of their participation is desired.  Use a separate line for each llama.

uPlease record your information as soon after your hike is completed to be sure of its accuracy.

 

TRAIL INFORMATION:  uuMost people tend to hike on the same trails. To reduce the need for you to repeatedly have to write in the trail name over and over, please consider the first trail you hike as Trail #1.  The next time you hike that same trail, simply refer to it as Trail #1.  As you hike different trails, number them in order - #2, then #3, accordingly.  If you are hiking around your property rather than on a trail open to the public, please just enter a short descriptive note to identify it: home place, neighbor’s land, etc.

uFill in detailed information about your main trails – this will be used to create our future catalog of trails available for llama hiking.

uIf more forms are needed, make copies – just make sure to match your Trail # and Name from the Tracking Mileage form to the Trail Information form.

 

As you send in your mileage to PLTA, you might want to make a note on your table of the date you sent it in.  A simple line drawn under your last entry will also let you know what data was last submitted.  Submissions are due monthly (within a two week window).
